Management

Susheel Saraff :

Mr.Susheel Saraff, the pioneering force behind the Saraff Group, is the Chairman of SIL. His journey from his father's shop in a small town in India to leading one of the successful industrial houses in Thailand is a testimony of his legendary vision, determination and belief of investing resources on various projects that provide a platform for the talented people.

A humble man who believes in serving humankind as serving the almighty, his commercial acumen has enabled him to create professional and successful organizations. The Saraff Group Companies in the Plastics Industry are ISO 9001 : 9002 certified and enjoy an excellent reputation and business success in Thailand.

His eldest son, Jay Prakash, has done MBA from Thailand with some time spent at Kellogg Business School, United States, as part of an exchange program. Jay is currently working on various industrial projects of the group. His second son, Vijay Kumar, earned his Computer Engineering degree at the Rensaelear Polytechnic Institute, United States and is a Master's Degree holder in Business Management from Bangkok. Vijay leads the Information Technology Company of the Saraff Group.

Mr. Susheel Saraff, a humanitarian par excellence, is well known for the philanthropic activities for the welfare of the common people.

Vijay Saraff :

Mr. Vijay Kumar Saraff is the Managing Director of SIL. A Computer & Systems Engineer with degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, US, and a Master's Degree holder in Business Management, Vijay is responsible for the overall business of SIL.

Vijay has all round exposure in various IT facets. His skills in software development using C\C++, Visual basic, and Java technologies are complemented by his in-depth knowledge of Unix, Linux, other open source and all Windows operating systems. He has been actively involved in deployment of various IT systems and softwares across Saraff Group companies and other corporates in Thailand and US.

A member of Lucent Leadership Luncheon group, Vijay has graduated with honors summa cum laude and is the recipient of the prestigious Rensselaer award for International Excellence (1998-2002) and coveted membership of Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society (HKN) (2000-2002).

Hitendra Patil :

Mr. Hitendra Patil is the Chief Operating Officer and has the overall responsibility for the business operations of SIL. He brings with him a successful Leadership experience of over 15 years in the ITES and Financial Services industries, with a emphasis on establishing institutional policies, procedures, processes and controls to ensure that service standards are improved even with continued growth of business volumes.

Prior to joining SIL, Mr. Patil had a pioneering responsibility of commencing the seamlessly successful India operations of a leading Global Hedge Fund Administrator based in US providing turnkey, outsourced solution handling assets of about US$ 10 Bn. He headed the operations and business development of a securities depository in India contributing immensely in the alignment of complex technology systems to the rapidly changing needs of the Indian securities market with minute arrangements for compliance of several Government regulations and international customers' expectations. He has successfully maneuvered the operations of the depository which processed multi-million, mission critical and time-bound transactions every day and handled assets worth US$ 30 Bn. He has also worked for the largest private sector corporate house in India innovating the use of technology for effectively servicing millions of investors of the group companies.

A person with deep understanding of use of technology for creating value driven services, Mr. Hitendra Patil, holds a post graduate qualification in Financial Management and a Masters degree in Science.
